Sailplane #2

The Series 20 McCoy 60 engine that I ordered from Woody Bartelt was just delivered in today's mail. I could not be more pleased with the engine shown below. Its serial number is B37.

I am glad the engine is here because I have really been struggling conceptually with the front end of the Sailplane (SP) fuselage. I have been trying to come up an integrated arrangement for the plywood firewall, engine mount, fuel tank, and two wheel fixed landing gear installation. Once I get my arms around this problem, I can then proceed on with the SP project. On thing I did do after I decided to use a two wheel fixed landing gear, was to open up the 3/16" solid bulk head that was glued on the front of the fuselage frame as shown below......................Tandy
