Sailplane Project
After receiving a number of inputs and comments
from modelers on the Sailplane distribution list and a fair amount fussing
around, I have finally settled on the orange and yellow silk
combination with black trim shown in the color layout below.
This afternoon I applied yellow silk covering
over the doped Polyspan Lite on both sides of both elevator halves as shown
below. In addition, the elevator halves have had two coats of Randolph's No.
210 clear nitrate dope. Tomorrow, I plan will cover the stab with yellow
silk. The orange silk tips on the stab will be a little tricky so I will
have to work through how to do that.......................Tandy
